Soroptimist Satin Season in the Crimea
Сороптимист в Крыму

The inauguration of the SI Club of Dnepropetrovsk Club: 25/11/1999. Charter was given by the President of the Soroptimist International of Europe Helen Van Themshe. First Club President (1999-2001) was Olga Markova. Number of members today -20 persons.

SI Club of Dnepropetrovsk , the second in Ukraine after the one in Kyiv, developed and fulfilled many social , educative and cultural projects. All the projects were focused on the groups of people, adults and children, disabled on the physical or mental handicaps and on women health.

Friendship Links

Club has official Friendship Links with the Clubs in three Federations: with European SI Clubs Ringsted (Denmark), Delft (the Netherlands) ; SI Club of Talbot Co (MD, USA) and SI Club of Shire (United Kingdom)

Extension

SI Club of Dnepropetrovsk extended and assisted in the charter of the new, sixth Club of Ukraine in Simferopol on November 5, 2005.

Soroptimist Satin Season in Crimea

SI Club of Dnepropetrovsk is the only Ukrainian SI Club which organized the International tour-project Soroptimist Satin Season in Crimea which takes place every September of an odd year. Next time we plan to organize the tour in 2011. In total since 2001more than 100 persons :Soroptimists, their families and friends from France, Holland, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Luxemburg, from Great Britain and the United States of America took part in it.
